Middle School Jazz Band is open to any interested band members. We focus on learning how to "swing", beginning improvisation, and the language of Jazz through a variety of styles. We meet once a week after school for an hour. The Jazz Band performs several times during the school year including: the Fall Concert, Elementary Schools Tour*, "Evening of Jazz" in April*, and the May Concert. *MS/HS Jazz Bands will perform a combined number. Some students may learn how to play a second instrument.
